Attendees are responsible for their travel, lodging and Tuesday dinner. We have a suggested donation to help offset the costs of bringing in a guest speaker.

The EFCA Worship Leader Gathering is designed to edify, equip and exalt. We aim to edify leaders by creating opportunities to nurture authentic, long-term relationships among like-minded individuals. You’ll be equipped as a leader with both practical skills and theological training through peer learning and expert guidance. Ultimately our goal is to exalt the Lord by honing our craft in leading biblically-centered worship gatherings.

At the heart of the gathering are extended times to address your questions, and to learn from the experience of other worship leaders who have navigated those same issues. We are again inviting you to submit your questions during registration, and throughout the months leading up to the gathering so we can craft our time together to address those issues most effectively.

Who's invited?

This event is open to all full-time, part-time, and volunteer worship leaders and pastors in EFCA churches. Feel free to bring your creative/programming/production team to this event as well! However, please be aware that there is no programming for spouses.

Schedule

We will start with lunch on Monday, October 20 and meet through the afternoon. We will have dinner and then worship together on Monday evening. We will meet all day Tuesday, and that evening will be free for you to connect with other participants. On Wednesday morning, we'll meet from 9:00 a.m. to noon and then dismiss.

Cost

  • This event is offered free of charge! However, as you register, you have the option of submitting a donation to help offset our costs of bringing in guest speakers.
  • The EFCA will provide lunches and the Monday evening meal.
  • Attendees are responsible to arrange and pay for their travel, lodging and other travel meals not provided during the event.

  • We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis/Maple Grove, with a special group rate of $149/night.
