Stay Sharp 2023
Ecclesiology! What is a Church and Why Does That Matter?
The upheaval of the last few years has raised new questions about the definition and importance of the local church.
- What are the core essentials that make a church, a church?
- What does it mean to "not forsake the assembling of ourselves together?"
- Is "virtual church" really a church?
- What are the implications to the church being embodied?
- What is church membership really supposed to mean?
At Stay Sharp 2023, Greg Strand will help us revisit the biblical nature, purpose and function of the Church. We're also going to hear from experienced church leaders across the district about how their ecclesiology informs their efforts to both plant and revitalize healthy churches to the glory of God. Bring your own questions and insights as we do theology together in community.
