- Components of Leadership
- 10 Commandments for Mid-Level Leaders
- Leading the Boss
- Being the Example
- Four Key Traits Followers Seek
- Keys to Thriving as a Mid-Level Leader
- Staff/Board Relationships
- Sustaining Continuous Growth
- Seeking Additional Responsibilities
Course Description
The course is designed for both new and experienced mid-level leaders in EFCA West churches. We define a “mid-level leader” simply as one that serves vocationally in ministry in a leadership role other than in a lead/senior pastor role. This includes both full and part-time ministry staff. The cohort is designed to be more practical than theoretical and focused toward people currently serving in a mid-level role. There will be some recommended readings for those who attend. It is not designed for support staff members that do not lead in their area of service.
Meeting Schedule
This cohort will meet five times for approximately two hours on designated Thursday afternoons starting at 2:00 PM (PT)/3:00 PM (MT) on the following dates (Arizona attendees need to remember that daylight savings time starts on March 14). Please note that this schedule is subject to change.
- March 11, 2021
It is important that cohort members participate in the entire course. Please do not sign up unless you are able to attend at least four of these sessions.
Registration
This course is intended for mid-level leaders serving in churches affiliated with EFCA West who will be given priority registration. Registrations for people from other EFCA districts may be accepted if space allows.
There is no charge for participating in this cohort.
