EFCA Disability and Special Needs Webinar

The EFCA Disability and Special Needs Ministry will be having a free webinar on February 20 at 1 p.m. central time via Microsoft Teams. The topic is “how to respond pastorally and as church communities to those with dementia and their caregivers.”

Serving those with dementia and their caregivers, and creating space for all in our worship communities, is a part of the EFCA Disability and Special Needs team's broader mission to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This begins with growing in understanding of the unique challenges, including social isolation, grieving, changing roles and the need to learn new communication strategies. This webinar will feature guest speakers who have both personal and ministry experience of facing dementia and helping others to see and stay connected to God's story and His church through all.
